Father`s Garden
This modern garden villa in Soheilieh, Karaj, has been designed as a leisure-oriented family retreat, with a strong focus on the quality of outdoor spaces and the direct interaction between architecture and landscape. The building and the site are conceived as a unified composition, shaping a distinctive experience of living within a garden environment. The villa is organized on two levels, with the main public spaces — including the living area, kitchen, and a master guest suite — located on the ground floor. The private rooms are arranged on the first floor and extend along a continuous wrap-around terrace that encircles the building, acting as a spatial interface between interior life and the surrounding garden.
Within the landscape design, the site is deliberately structured into two interconnected yet functionally distinct zones. At the front of the villa, a football court, on-site parking area, and a 50 sqm social space equipped with a gazebo, tables and seating, adjacent to the football court, form the active and communal foreground of the project. At the rear of the garden, a 150 sqm covered gathering space with a tensile fabric roof is dedicated to family events and celebrations. This area is complemented by a variety of leisure facilities, including an outdoor swimming pool and a children’s play area, reinforcing the dynamic and recreational character of the project.
At the entrance of the garden, a memorial feature composed of a sculpture dedicated to the client’s parents is placed at the center of a prominent water element. A formal architectural wall gently separates this ceremonial space from the service and staff residential area located behind it. Designed in 2023 for Mr. Rahimi, this contemporary project focuses on creating an intimate, human-centered and memorable environment for family life and social gatherings.
